These terms cover your use of seatsignalhq.com and the SeatSignal subscriptions. By using the site or subscribing, you agree to them. "We" means SeatSignal, run by Mirza Otovic.

What SeatSignal is

  • SeatSignal Bids: a crowdsourced summary of airline upgrade-bid outcomes that travelers report to us.
  • SeatSignal Go Today: a newsletter of last-minute flight deals from New York-area airports (JFK, LGA, EWR).
  • Buying either subscription gives you access to both.

Subscriptions and billing

  • Plans are $5/month or $49/year. The founding price is $39/year, limited to the first 100 founding sign-ups. Founding members keep that price for as long as their subscription stays active.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period until you cancel.
  • Payments are processed by Stripe. Checkout runs through Stripe's Managed Payments (sold through Link), so your checkout page, receipts and card statement may show Link and/or MaxUrPoints, the Stripe account SeatSignal bills through. Stripe/Link also emails receipts and can help with billing questions.
  • After you pay, we set up your access by hand and email you within 24 hours. If you don't hear from us, contact us (below).

Cancel anytime

You can cancel anytime in the billing portal (log in with the email you paid with), through your Link account, or by emailing us. Cancelling stops the next renewal, and you keep access until the end of the period you've paid for.

Refunds

  • Annual plans (including founding): full refund, no questions asked, if you ask within 7 days of the first charge or of a renewal charge.
  • Monthly plans: no partial refunds. Cancel anytime to stop future charges.
  • If something went wrong on our side (for example, we never delivered access), contact us and we'll make it right.
  • To ask for a refund, email us from the address you paid with. Refunds go back to your original payment method.

No guarantees

  • Bid data is crowdsourced. It's self-reported by travelers, may be incomplete or wrong, and doesn't predict any airline's decision. Airlines decide upgrades based on factors we can't see. We don't guarantee that any bid will win.
  • Go Today fares change constantly. Every deal is a snapshot from the time we checked. Prices and availability can change or disappear before you book. Always confirm on the airline's or booking site before you pay.
  • SeatSignal is provided "as is", for information only. It isn't financial or travel-booking advice. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the last 12 months.

Not affiliated with any airline

SeatSignal is independent. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any airline, Plusgrade, SeatBoost or any booking site. Airline names are used only to describe their programs.

Your submissions

  • When you submit a bid report, you give us permission to use it, anonymized and aggregated, in the dashboard, the newsletter and public summaries.
  • Please don't submit booking references, names or anything false. We may remove reports that look wrong or abusive.

Acceptable use

Don't scrape the site in bulk, resell paid content, share your paid access publicly, or try to break the site. We may end access for abuse. If we do, unused annual time will be refunded pro rata unless the abuse was serious.

Changes

We may update these terms. If a change matters (for example, a price change), we'll email subscribers before it takes effect. Prices never change in the middle of a period you've already paid for.
